Central Conference League Result and Fixture
Rangers went down 2-1 last night in the Central Conference League against a very strong Ilkeston Town side with no less than 6 first team players.
From all accounts the play was of a very high standard and very entertaining to watch with our players giving the 'full-timers' a real run for their money!
Harry Wightman scored our goal, with first team players Blake Thompson, Joel Mills and Luke Bottomer adding a bit of experience to the side.
Our next match is against Tresham Football Academy (Kettering) at home on Thursday 16th October at 7.45pm.
Entry to this match is across the board at £2.00 and an ideal opportunity to see the rest of the squad plying their trade under match conditions.
Lets get behind the boys and give them as much support as possible!

Task & Finish - An Introduction
At tonight's meeting of the Board and Non Executive Directors, a presentation was made regarding a proposed new group who will assemble as a working party to look at ground improvements, planning and associated fund raising.
This group will consist of Rob Simpson, Steve Cartwright, Graham Mitchell (Mitch), plus Director John Bromley who will feed information between the group and the Board and Alan Gee, who will act in his role as Fans' Rep and will deal with updates and releases.
More information will be released soon including the setting up of a 100 club to help with hitting the specific fund raising targets needed to complete projects to hopefully include new stands and other works in phases.

We have already spent a considerable amount of money realigning the floodlights and Stripes have recently made a generous donation towards replacing the lamps.
We are still waiting for another 4 lamps to be replaced so work is ongoing. Hopefully it will be completed in the next few weeks.
Eric Robins has kindly agreed that monies raised on his sponsored goal can go towards replacing these lamps.
If you have any concerns about the floodlights please contact the club and somebody will be happy to discuss these concerns with you.
