Welcome to our latest signing, Roger Lee, a 25 year old Bermudan defender/midfielder who joins us having most recently been with Corby Town but has also had spells with Rugby Town, Stamford and Clevedon. At 5 '11 he adds more height and strength to an increasingly strong squad.
Here is a general update for you regarding upcoming games and other fixtures.
Hednesford Town - FA Trophy
On Saturday 12th November we travel to Keys Park. Admission on the day is £12 Adults, £8 Concessions and £2 Under 16s.
Hednesford will play in white shirts and black shorts. Rangers will be in orange shirts with grey shorts.
We have had confirmation of our rearranged game at Ilkeston. The game will now take place at the Manor on Tuesday 13th December.
Walsall Senior Cup
On Wednesday 9th November we travel to Queen Street to take on Bilston Town in the Walsall Senior Cup at 7.45pm. The winners of this tie will take on the winners of Rushall Olympic v Brocton, who play each other on Tuesday evening.
We are hosting a National Police Cup game on Thursday 10th November with a 7pm kick off. This is between Staffs Police and Northants Police with free admission.
Friday 18th November - Charity Night
On Friday 18th November we host a Battlefund Game where a Rangers Legends team will take on the Battlefund XI with funds going to Tom Stevenson's Motor Neurone fund. Kick off 6,30pm
On the same night our social club also host a Katharine House quiz night including guest host, Nick Hancock. Start 7.30pm with tickets from Katharine House.
Monday 21st November - Reserves
We face our first home Central Conference fixture as we welcome Alfreton Town Academy, with a 7.45 kick off, Admission £2 and £1 cons.
The draw has been made for the Buildbase FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying Round and we have been drawn away yet again, in a tough tie with our local neighbours Hednesford Town, at Keys Park at 3pm on Saturday 12th November.
This Friday morning (28th) we stage our Inaugural Army League as part of us building our relationship with the local forces.
With gates open at 10AM and a 10.30 kick off, the first game takes place as The Royal Signals Regiment take on The Army Air Corps.
Admission is free and the forecast is set fair so why not come along!
