Help Still Needed

With less than 2 weeks to our first home friendly, there are still a lot of jobs to do around the ground. If you can spare any time to help with general maintenance and tidying up around the ground, please call the office to check on opening times. The ground is usually open during the week or arrangements can be made to open up at the weekend

Boost the Boro Lottery Statement 2017

Hi Lottery Member

The first season of the Boost-the Boro’ Lottery has been a great success. After paying out £4,600 in prizes some £10,884 was raised for infrastructure improvements at Marston Road.

We paid out £4,275 to two projects and are carrying forward over £6,600 for the coming season. We have kept expenditure on projects deliberately low in the first season to create a bigger pot of money to enable us to tackle more ambitious projects in future.

During this close season we have two big projects which must be financed for health and safety and ground grading reasons

We would welcome the views of all lottery members on what other ground improvements the lottery should be funding.

If the lottery is to reach its full potential and be a leading force in improving spectator and player conditions at Marston Road we have to increase the number of lottery members from the current figure of 250 to at least 450 and at least double the net annual operating surplus. The best way to do this is through lottery agents who earn commission for themselves while Boosting the Boro.

Can you become a lottery agent and help grow your football club?

If so please contact me at the email below. Up the Boro!

Yours sincerely,

Paul Griffiths

On behalf of the Lottery Committee
