CHRIS BRINDLEY

Chris has had a long and distinguished career in non league football. He started his football career at Wolves before moving into non league football. Chris played in 3 FA Trophy finals with Kidderminster Harriers, Telford United and Hednesford. He gained winners medals with Kidderminster and Hednesford and scored the winning goal for Hednesford.

Chris played at Stafford during the 2000/1 and the 2001/2 seasons before moving on to Hednesford where he eventually became Manager. He guided Hednesford to the Southern Premier League Championship and promotion to the Conference North before moving on to become Assistant Manager at Halesowen Town and Rushall Olympic.

Chris joined Stafford Rangers at the start of the 2008-9 season as Assistant Manager and took over as Manager in December 2008 following the departure of Steve Bull.

DARREN READ

First Team Coach

Darren has a wealth of experience and knowledge of coaching and developing players, both locally and internationally. He has held coaching positions at Wolverhampton Wanderers,  Derby County and Lindholm IF (Denmark), and with the Montserrat National Football Team, British West Indies.

Darren coached and developed players at Stafford Rangers under 21's and reserve team levels during the club's inaugural year in the Football Conference under Phil Robinson.

He was appointed first team coach by Steve Bull for the 2008 / 2009 Blue Square North Season and retained by current Manager Chris Brindley as Assistant Manager / Coach after Steve's departure.

ANDY BATES

Reserves Manager

Andy has been involved with the club for a number of years through coaching.
He coached in the juniors section for 9 years
before managing and coaching the under 18's and assisting with the under 21's alongside Daz Read under Phil Robinson.

Last season he was appointed reserves manager/coach, helping with the development of the youth players and assisting with the rehabilitation of injured first team players.

LEE EVANS

Place: Sutton Coldfield

Signed from Chasetown at the start of this season. Lee played in the Chasetown FA Cup team which had such a great run in the 2007-8 season impressing against league opposition.

TOM HARRISON

Another ex Stoke player who played a number of games last season for Stoke City reserves. Was an almost ever-present in the talented Stoke City Youth team. An agile goalkeeper.

ADAM WHITEHOUSE

Date of Birth: 7/6/92
Place: Stafford

Signed as cover for Lee Evans. The 17 year old has played in the Reserves and was a regular in the under 18's youth team last season.

DANNY ALLEN

Date of birth: 13/9/90
Place: Stafford

A local lad who progressed into the first squad last season after impressing in the clubs youth team.
Danny represented Staffordshire in the FA County Youth Cup.

Danny was part of the successful Port Vale Academy for 4 seasons. He has represented England U18's Midland's Squad vs. Australia, and has also captained Staffordshire U18's to the Semi Final of the National Cup.

CRAIG HOLLAND

Defender. Craig signed for the Boro prior to the AFC Telford home match and came on as a second half substitute. Previously with Chasetown, Stafford Town and has featured in reserve team matches for Rangers.

GRANT GOODHEAD

A quick and versatile defender with good heading ability.  Progressed through Hednesford Town’s youth sides before gaining experience with Goodrich, Cradley Town and Market Drayton.

ASHLEY WOOLISCROFT

Born: 28/12/1979
Place:  Stoke

Completed a 3 month loan spell from BSN side Fleetwood Town in December 2009 and has now signed for the Boro on non-contract terms after a short spell back at Fleetwood.

Started career at Stoke as a trainee, eventually going on to make two first team appearances.
Moved to Conference Telford United in 2001. Next stop was League of Wales side Newtown. In 2005, he joined Leek Town and then Kidsgrove Athletic in October 2006.

He joined Hednesford Town in October 2007 and has made seven first team appearances for the former Conference North club before moving to Stalybridge Celtic.

Ashley join Fleetwood Town in May 2009.

CRAIG McAUGHTRIE

Place of Birth: Burton on Trent

Defender.
Craig has re-joined the club on a three month loan spell from BSN rivals Eastwood Town. A former crowd favourite, Macca left the club to join Tamworth in 2007.

Since that time he has played at the now defunct Kings Lynn and Eastwood Town.

Joe has impressed in the Rangers under 18’s Youth Team and Reserves and is pushing for a place in the first team.

ANDRE FRANCIS

Place: Birmingham

Andre is equally at home as a wide midfielder or wing back. Has an excellent engine. His ability to cover the ground quickly makes him a valuable asset in either role.

Joined the club last season from Halesowen Town, and picked up the clubs Young Player of Season award.

TONY DINNING

Date of Birth: 12/04/1975
Place: Newcastle on Tyne

Dinning began his career at Newcastle United before moving to Stockport County in June 1994 where he spent six successful years.
In September 2000, he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers for £700,000. He stayed at Wolves for less than a year before moving to Wigam Athletic for £750,000.
He then moved on to Stoke City on loan playing in their play-off victory.
He returned  to Wigan and helped them to promotion. A number of loan moves followed before he joined Port Vale permanently in May 2006.
After a short return to Stockport County he moved to Chester City. He moved into non league football with Grays Athletic and Gateshead and at the start of this season joined local rivals Hednesford Town.
Injuries have restricted his appearances this season, but now fit again, he has joined Rangers bringing with him a wealth of experience.

EBENEZER MASADE

Place: London

Midfielder who joined the club in February this season from Ryman League club Tonbridge  Angels.

Has played for a number of clubs in the South East of England       including Thurrock  United, Horsham and Sutton United.

TOM THORLEY

A talented local youngster who was spotted by Stoke City. He spent much of last season on loan at Stafford and after being released by Stoke opted to join his home club for the current season despite overtures from other clubs.

MICHAEL BURNS

Birth Place: Huyton, Liverpool

Midfielder.
Michael joined the club on 22.01.2010 on a one month loan deal from Carlisle United.
Burns joined Carlisle on trial during the 2009 January transfer window and quickly earned himself an 18 month contract.
He started out as a trainee with Liverpool before moving to Bolton Wanderers where he became a regular in their reserve side.
He has represented England at schoolboy and under 16’s level where he scored on his debut in a 4-2 win over Wales. Picked up FA Youth cup winners medals with Liverpool in 2006 and 2007.
 

LEVI REID

Born: 19/12/83
Place: Stafford

Levi Reid re-joined Rangers for a third spell in August 2009 after a spell out of the game.
He started his career at Port Vale rising from the youth ranks to make his first team debut as a substitute on the last day of the 2003-4 season. He made his first team debut in Nov 2003, in an FA Cup match. He made 14 appearances that season and was a regular in the first team during 2004-5. He was released in May 2005, having made 49 first team appearances.and joined Stafford Rangers. His famous winning goal in a penalty shoot out saw rangers book a place in the Blue Square Premier.
Reid made a return to League football with Macclesfield and after making a number of first team appearances (scoring 2 goals) he moved on to Oxford United. Reid was given a six month contract with Oxford and left in late September 2008 due to family commitments.

NICK WELLECOMME

Date of birth: 31/5/84
Place: Stafford

Nick joined Boro in mid-March 2008 having already scored 21 league goals for Newcastle Town. He previously played for Midland Combination side Brocton where he gained his reputation as a prolific goalscorer, netting 70 goals in just two seasons.

A real hand-full for opposing centre-halves.
