Levi Reid re-joined Rangers for a third spell in August 2009 after a spell out of the game.
He started his career at Port Vale rising from the youth ranks to make his first team debut as a substitute on the last day of the 2003-4 season. He made his first team debut in Nov 2003, in an FA Cup match. He made 14 appearances that season and was a regular in the first team during 2004-5. He was released in May 2005, having made 49 first team appearances.and joined Stafford Rangers. His famous winning goal in a penalty shoot out saw rangers book a place in the Blue Square Premier.
Reid made a return to League football with Macclesfield and after making a number of first team appearances (scoring 2 goals) he moved on to Oxford United. Reid was given a six month contract with Oxford and left in late September 2008 due to family commitments.
