Alex is a very experienced midfielder who joined Rangers in May 2019 having ended the previous campaign with Hednesford Town having joined from Guiseley in January that year.

He had had previous spells with Guiseley and Barrow. He spent his early years with Burnley having joined the Clarets Centre of Excellence as a youngster.

He earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2009. He was loaned out to Fleetwood Town in March 2011 and again in August 2011. A further loan spell with Barrow followed, and after his release from Burnley in May 2012 joined them on a permanent deal.

Michael Williams has re-signed for the club, having recently played at both Hednesford and Chasetown. He adds experience and versatility to the squad having played in central defence and right wing back in recent pre-season games.

‘Dubz’ has recently spent time with us, as well as being a tough opponent, so will be known by many fans already.

He is a Montserrat international having played thirteen times for his country

Jon joined the club in November 2019, initially on loan, from Bradford Park Avenue before agreeing to a permanent stay.

He began his career with Crewe Alexandra. He then joined Nantwich Town before moving to Forest Green Rovers in June 2016. A move to Chester City followed in the summer of 2018. During his time at the Deva Stadium, he had a spell on loan at Hednesford Town.

After a move to Bradford for the start of the 2019/2020 he was injured but is now fully recovered.

Jon has become a popular figure and a fans favourite at the club.

Joseph Kenton

Joe arrived at Marston Road from Welsh League side Newtown in July 2020. A pacey and direct winger who can also play as a wing back.

Began his career with Wolves for seven years as a youngster before a move to Shrewsbury Town on a two year scholarship where he was a member of their youth team squad.

A move to Tividale followed before his moved to Newtown where he made 34 appearances scoring six goals.

Jamie joined Rangers in July 2020.

He comes to the Boro with the reputation of being a prolific goal-scorer having scored 98 goals in 102 appearances in the past 3 seasons for Heanor Town in the East Midlands Counties League.

Jamie is confident that he can move up to step 3 and has impressed in the pre-season matches

An experienced and versatile player, Cieron joined Rangers in August this year.

Cieron spent time with Wolves youth team, signing his first scholarship in July 2012 and spent two years at the club.

He moved to League One side Notts County in July 2014 and made his debut in August 2014 but following their relegation to League two he was released at the end of that season.

In August 2015, he signed for National League North side Nuneaton Town making his debut, against Lowestoft Town. Moves to Worcester, Kidderminster, Alfreton and Boston United followed before he signed for Northern Premier League side Basford United in September 2018 on a dual registration from Boston United. After spells with Leamington and Bradford Park Avenue, Keane returned to Basford again in November 2019.

Cieron is a Republic of Ireland U19 international and made 10 appearances at this level.

Callum Coyle

Joined Rangers in July 2020.

This highly rated player started his career at Walsall Academy. He was released at age 16 and joined Solihull Moors. He thrived in the Moors Academy, signing first team forms in March 2017.

Callum was described as being one of the most technically-gifted players at Solihull and made a number of first team appearances.

At 16 years of age Joe Morley is an exciting prospect and has appeared in some pre-season games on the left-hand side. Joe has also signed for both the U18 and U21 development sides. He has trained throughout pre-season with the first team and will undoubtedly feature at some stage.

We hope the addition of Joe will draw attention to our continuing efforts to bring a level of continuity to our squad progression from junior to senior level.

Matt Hill

Matt is a vastly experienced player who joined the club in January 2019.

He started his career at Bristol City and went on to make over 200 appearances for the Robins. He then spent 3 and half years at Preston before brief spells at Wolves, QPR, Barnsley and Blackpool.

Following this he then had a couple of years at each of Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers. After a spell with Bradford PA, he joined Ashton United before making the move to the Boro’.

At the start of the current season Matt stepped up to management accepting the role as assistant to Jody Banim.
