A sad day and a message to us all

Stafford Rangers FC are deeply saddened to report of the death of Andrew Macfarlane, a Stafford Rangers Fan that will be known to many of our supporters.

Andrew was a loving son, brother, uncle and a friend to many, and our deepest sympathies go to all of them at this terrible time.

To commemorate Andrews’ life there will be a minute’s applause at our home game against Atherton Collieries on Saturday 19th October. Members of Andrew’s family and friends will be in attendance, and we hope that the love and support that we know they will receive from our amazing supporters will provide some comfort to them.

Also, in attendance at the game will be Andysmanclub. Andys Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity that helps men who are struggling with mental health issues or life challenges to talk. They meet at Stafford Rugby Club every Monday, except bank holidays, at 7pm.

Andysmanclub will have a stand in the JD suite on the day and are more than happy to talk to anyone, especially about the services they offer. They will also be attending more games throughout the season, dates of which are being confirmed.
