Leon Phillips signs
Stafford Rangers are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Leon Phillips.
Phillips, 24, joins the club following his departure from National League side Tamworth, having previously played for the club in the 2024/25 season when he joined us on loan.

Prior to this Phillips has appeared for Boston United, Alvechurch and Stratford Town. He started his career at Nottingham Forest before moving on to Mansfield Town and then Kidderminster Harriers.
Manager Graham Deakin said on the signing:
“When we learnt that Scott (Moloney) wouldn’t be returning, Leon quickly became our number one target. Leon proved in the games he had here last season how good he is on the pitch, and he’s equally brilliant in the dressing room.”
“Hopefully this is a big year for Leon where he can be the clubs number one, and I am sure the fans will be delighted wih his return to the club.”

Phillips becomes Stafford Rangers sixth new signing of the summer, following the capture of Kyle Sambor, Scott Bakkor, Mitch Clarke, Jordan Barrow & Darrhyl Mason.
