Two Key Projects get to Kick Off

As part of its 150th Anniversary celebrations, Stafford Rangers FC is proud to announce a major step forward in enhancing the matchday experience at the Stan Robinson Stadium. The club has successfully secured a grant to support two key infrastructure projects: the installation of new home turnstiles and a comprehensive renovation of the toilets beneath the Main Stand.

The new turnstiles will improve access for home supporters and are scheduled to be installed in the very near future. Meanwhile, the toilet facilities—long overdue for an upgrade—will be fully refurbished. The renovation will include the addition of a disabled-access toilet and baby changing facilities, making the stadium more inclusive and family-friendly.

The grant, awarded through the Football Stadium Improvement Fund (FSIF), will cover 65% of the total cost. However, under the terms of the funding, the club must first raise the remaining 35% and pay the full amount of each invoice before receiving the Football Associations contribution. This funding model makes fan support more vital than ever.

To help bridge the funding gap, the club is encouraging supporters to sign up for the Boro Lottery, which directly funds infrastructure projects like these. A series of fundraising events will also take place throughout the season. In addition, the club is currently re-tendering the toilet renovation project in an effort to reduce overall costs.
