Joe Dunne returns to the Boro

Stafford Rangers are thrilled to announce the return of left sided defender Joe Dunne. 

Dunne, 24, rejoins the club after spending two seasons with Chasetown, where he won the Walsall Senior Cup last season, beating the Boro’ in the final on penalties. 

Most fans will remember the full back from his previous spell at the club when he was signed by Matt Hill, appearing for us in the NPL Premier Division, having initially started his career at Rochdale.

On the signing manager Graham Deakin said

“I’m delighted to have signed Joe.”

“We had two or three conversations after he stated he wanted to return to the club, and we had to make sure that everything was right for both parties.”

“We both feel this is the right move for Joe, and his numbers back that up.

He’s one of the best left backs in the league and I’m looking forward to seeing him in the black and white stripes again.”
