With a great last minute ‘never say die’ equaliser at Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday we hit 10 games on the bounce unbeaten. Congratulations to Matt, Dale and all the squad and backroom staff for a great achievement and we have to go back a fair few years to see the same impressive statistic.

The current run of games equals the run made in 1999/2000 when we won the Doc Martens Western Division but it is still 2 short of the (post war) record :12 spread over two seasons (11 in 1983/4 and 1 in 1984/85; and 2 in 1969/70 and 10 in 1970/71).

We now finally have 2 home games in quick succession welcoming Whitby Town FC this Saturday 5th February KO 3.00 pm and Mickleover Sports on Tuesday evening 8th February KO 7.45 pm.

This team has the capacity to break records and break down defences and if we can bring home our away record it could be a very exciting few days.

You will be able to pay on the gate as usual but to get access to the ground quicker if you can go to our online box office to buy your ticket and get it scanned fast at the gate.

We now sit 9th in the league currently 7 points off the play offs, still with a lot to do but we have an appetite and a hunger for this!

Up the Boro
