Dave Cooke takes the reigns

The club is delighted to confirm that Dave Cooke, has been appointed First Team Manager with immediate effect. Dave will be well known, having managed Nantwich Town FC from 2017 until September 2022. During that time Dave guided Nantwich to two play-off place finishes, two FA Cup first round appearances and lifted the Cheshire Senior Cup on two occasions. Dave has extensive knowledge of the NPL, and the caliber of players required to move the team in the right direction.

Dale Belford will continue in his role as Assistant Manager, with Karl Lenaghan (Goalkeeper Coach), Jimmy O’Neill (Coach) and Stacey Barley (Physio).

Unfortunately, John Psaras will be leaving the club. John has been a mainstay of the backroom staff for several seasons, but feels the time is right for him to focus on his business interests and a pending achilles operation! The club cannot thank John enough and he will always be welcome at Marston Road.
