This Saturday, 27th January, we entertain Matlock Town in a Northern Premier League fixture. The league table shows the clubs separated by just one place and 2 points, so it becomes the typical 6 pointer, with a win taking Rangers above Matlock. However, Matlock will no doubt be up for this fixture as they try to go for the double, having beaten us 2-0 last October at The Autoworld Arena, and they are fresh from a very good away win at 6th placed Farsley Celtic last Tuesday night. Makes for a very good encounter so come on down to Marston Road for the 3pm kick off. Next Tuesday night 30th January we travel to Rocester as we try to progress further in the Staffs Senior Cup. Rocester may sit bottom of the Total Motion Midland Football league, but they do have games in hand to escape relegation, and as a local derby, I am sure they will be up for this game, so your support at Hillfield Rocester will be appreciated for this 7:45 kick off.
