Congratulations to Tom Thorley who was voted Stafford Rangers Player of the Month for August.
Tom received the Evostik Northern Premier League award sponsored by Bowlands Brewery and also the Stafford Rangers award sponsored jointly by Holdcroft Motors and ACT Fasteners. The awards were made by Chairman John Bromley and Steve Winterburn, representative of Holdcroft Motors.
Tom moved back to his home town club at the start of this season. In a previous spell at the club he became a firm fans favourite. A stylish midfielder, Tom started his career as a junior at Stoke City. He ad two loans spells at Rangers in 2009 and moved to Marston Road on a permanent basis, having been released by Stoke City. He moved on to Worcester City in 2010 to pursue his studies and remained at Worcester for 3 seasons before a move to Hednesford Town where he remained until his transfer to Boro, with the exception of a brief period at AFC Telford.
