Pete Beeby (Assistant Manager) – “When we were approached by Chris to support the Jon Downing Charity Day it was something we were definitely happy to support and to add to our schedule of games. The charities are absolutely something we would want to get behind and the lads will all be donating. We take our football seriously and have travelled to Ireland and Scotland to play representative teams in the past eighteen months and we travel to Madrid for a tournament next month – May. But this game will be our hardest in a long, long time – Chris has attracted some very young professionals for us to play against and it’s going to be a tough game, but we know that the outcome will be to raise that all important money – we’re just glad to be able to help.
