• The club has appointed an experienced and exciting manager to drive everything on the pitch and are currently looking at what our playing squad will look like.
• Your club has recognised the need for change and accepted a new written protocol for managing the business. Within this the board have agreed to the election of a Fans director in principle subject to a mechanism for election and protocol of conduct being agreed. They have also agreed that the absence of the historic £10,000 will not disqualify any applicant from being a director. Any new director will have to serve a probationary period on a non-executive basis and they will seek new directors with necessary and appropriate skills.
• We are in the process of putting together a Ground Naming Scheme with a target to raise £100,000. In the current economic climate this is not going to be easy but we will try. More news as soon as we can...
• We are constantly looking at ways to engage with our fans and seek to identify people with the skills that can help us do things better.
• We are looking hard at our Corporate Sponsorship packages to try and make them more effective and more attractive. This will be even more important in the unknown commercial world we will inhabit.
• We are looking at establishing an effective social media strategy to make sure that we get core messages out there and employ best practice in getting our message out to as many people as possible.
