• We have received a Pitch Preparation Grant of £1500 jointly funded by the Premier League, the FA and the Government. The grant will help to pay for the cost of materials, such work as verti-draining, chain harrowing, rolling, over seeding, fertilising, weed killing, and routine preparatory work such as grass cutting and the setting out and line marking of pitches. We would like to thank Dennis and his team who work so hard on making our playing surface as good as it can be.
• We are looking at identifying additional volunteers to help in delivering a good match day experience, recognising first and foremost the need to protect our fans and develop a spirit of fairness and community that we talk about, but sometimes fail to deliver. Additional volunteers are not always easy to identify but we are working hard on this so that your unsung heroes can get help. We are also pleased to announce the appointment of a Match Day Volunteer Co-ordinator. More news to follow…

Some of these actions may change or indeed not be deliverable but we are trying to move things forward with limited resources so timeframes are constantly moving. Some may be decided by Covid-19 governance but we thought it would be useful for you to get a flavour of what’s happening behind the scenes and to reinforce what has been achievable with your support.
