New structure planned
Stafford Rangers are delighted to announce that they have agreed to strengthen the board of directors.
Mark Alcock, Ben Alcock, David Montgomery, Harry Shaw, and David Smith (Currently Associate Director) have been asked by the Chairman to join the existing team as full board members at a board meeting held at the club on Friday 31/10/2025.
Chairman John Hayne states:
We recognise and accept the need to establish some additional help and bring in people with a wide range of skill sets to help the club move forward. We recognise that we need to change the structure of the club to make us more effective. The club needs to be more open to innovative ideas and have the right people around us that can work together as a team to make this happen. There is still some hard work to be done to finalise details, but I am excited by the prospect and will continue to do everything I can as Chairman to make the club a better place both on and off the field.
David Montgomery comments:
All five of us have a huge affinity with the club and believe this is a terrific opportunity to work together to make some needed changes to roles and management structure. This will take time to set up as it must be right, and everyone needs to accept change. To construct something that has the potential to work effectively is now the challenge, but everyone is up for it and thank the Chairman and existing directors for supporting the proposal.
The club confirms that a new structure is now being worked on. It will take time but as soon as the board are happy with it will communicate the full details to the fans.
