Securing the Club’s Future
Stafford Rangers FC: Shareholders Back Shared Vision to Secure Club’s Future

At last night’s 2026 General Meeting, Stafford Rangers Football Club’s shareholders formally agreed to the Shared Vision that will secure the club’s long‑term future at the Stan Robinson Stadium.
The Vision launches a bold programme to restore Stafford Rangers to competitive success, transform the ground, and deepen community use of our historic home.
A decisive leap forward
With shareholder backing secured, the board and our new investors Nathan Owen and George Bruneau are united behind a clear, deliverable strategy to make Stafford Rangers financially self‑sustaining and competitive at a higher level of semi‑professional football in the coming years.

The mandate is ambitious and practical: invest in infrastructure, rebranding and promoting the social club as a daytime conference and meeting venue, professionalise the club’s leadership, and reinvest every surplus back into the club — strengthening performance on the pitch and the experience off it.
Protecting our home for generations
At the heart of the Shared Vision is an uncompromising commitment to the Stan Robinson Stadium.

The shareholder vote cements protections for our ground and the pledge from our principal backers to prioritise investment that will upgrade the stadium and secure its place as the beating heart of the community.
Stronger governance, sharper accountability
Shareholders have also endorsed governance reforms to ensure transparency and performance.
The board will be independently elected each year and accountable to shareholders and supporters through regular review.
Directors have pledged hands‑on commitment to deliver the plan, and the club will appoint a full‑time chief executive, David Smith, to professionalise day‑to‑day leadership and drive delivery of the vision.
