We can announce ahead of this evening’s game at Basford that we have signed Aaron Cole. Aaron was with us for the majority of pre-season before signing for Gresley Rovers to improve his fitness and gain valuable match time. Aaron can literally play anywhere across the pitch and will give us great options with team selection. He is not cup-tied so can also be available for selection at the weekend.

On a disappointing note we can confirm that Ryan Nesbitt has left the club to re-join Sutton Coldfield Town FC. Within days of our victory at Buxton, his debut, we received seven days’ notice of approach. Despite being in our squads at Hyde and Hereford, Ryan has chosen to leave and we can only assume he feels he will have more game time at the lower level. We wish Ryan well for the future.

On the injury front we expect players to return to the squad over the next couple of weeks, Jon Moran (ankle), Mitch Candlin (ankle), Tom Thorley (calf) and Josh Williams (concussion). Danny Burns completes his suspension at Basford and Tom Carr has gone out on loan at Northwich Victoria.

Fisaiyo Adarabioyo is on dual registration and remains with us for the time being.
