Isaac towers in and Luke is promoted

Isaac Lee

We can confirm the loan signing of 20-year-old, 6’5” defender Saac (Isaac) Lee from Radcliffe FC until the end of the current season. Under the terms of the agreement Isaac will not be able to play against his parent club. Having trialed at Manchester City, Isaac went on to sign a two year deal with Stoke City and since his release has featured at AFC Fylde and Ramsbottom United. He became Radcliffe’s 10th signing during the summer featuring in all pre-season games and earning a contract. He has had loan spells at Prestwich Heys and Widnes this season. Isaac met up with and trained with us yesterday evening and comes straight into the squad for this Saturday’s game at home to Ilkeston.

Welcome to the Boro, Isaac and thank you to Anthony Johnson, Bernard Morley, and all at Radcliffe FC for enabling this move.

Additionally, we can confirm that another of our Under 21s, striker Luke Draysey, has signed first team forms after impressing Dave Cooke and Dale Belford in training. Luke has scored regularly for the U21s since he joined in December and will continue to play for U21s, whilst gaining experience by training with the first team each week. We now have seven players from our development squad training with the first team, each challenged to force their way into matchday consideration.

Finally, we can confirm that goalkeeper Ethan Endacott has been released. Ethan came in to cover Cam Belford whilst Jack Sandel was injured. We would like to thank Ethan for his time at the Boro and wish him well for the future.
