Stafford Rangers Ukrainian Appeal

As everyone is aware we carried out an appeal at the last home game against South Shields in aid of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

We have now finalised the collection and confirm that we have raised £1,000 in support from all the donations made last Saturday.

We will ensure that this is now transferred to the Disaster Emergency Relief Charity to support the fund raising appeal. As every pound raised will be matched by HMG this sum will therefore ultimately reflect a total figure of £2,000 which will help to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to displaced families.

We would like to thank everyone who made a contribution on the day your support is much appreciated.

On a daily basis we are all disturbed and upset by the brutal scenes and images we see from the Ukraine and can only hope that their courage and suffering comes to an end soon.

Football is important but pails into insignificance sometimes and your donations and efforts reinforce our moto that Stafford Rangers is ‘more than just a football club’.
