SRFC Golf Day 2023

Well, what a day. Our first Stafford Rangers Annual Golf Day was met with enthusiasm, competitiveness, enjoyment and generosity.

Thank-you to all the teams that participated, volunteers who helped on the day and the fans that turned up to support us. Finally we’d like to thank ‘The Castle Golf Club’ for hosting us, what a great venue with friendly staff. We certainly will look forward to acquainting ourselves again with you, next year.

We hope everyone who turned up enjoyed themselves; and we would like to thank everyone who donated prizes for the event. Also, a special thanks to the ‘Events Team’ – that helped administrate on the day (Alison, Di and Sue). Also, thanks to our club president Ken Hunt, for compèring the day and marking the cards, we couldn’t have done it without you.

So, who were the winners ?

Joe Kenton leaves

Joe Kenton

It is with great sadness that we need to inform you, that Joe Kenton will not be returning to the club for this coming season.

Joe has revealed that due to pressures at work, he will reluctantly not be able to commit to the more stringent levels that the club performs at, both in training and on a match-day.

Joe has been at the club for three seasons and has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the Boro and we would like to thank him for some great memories and goals.

Who can’t remember that great goal at FC United of Manchester.

Good luck Joe.
