As we have now reached the halfway point of the league season, Eric has provided an update on the fundraising scheme for the players budget this season. To date Eric through the sponsored results program has raised £1,300 for the players fund with projected totals for the season hoping to reach £2,500.

At the club we want to thank Eric and all of his sponsors individually for their continued efforts to fundraise and help support the club. Up the Boro!

Joe Dunne signs on loan from Rochdale

Joe DunneWe are proud to announce the signing of 20 year old defender, Joe Dunne from Rochdale. This will initially be a one month loan arrangement. Joe is 6.0’ and is comfortable at either left back or left-sided centre half. His career started at Wolves before joining Rochdale and becoming a first team squad player. He has played for the first team as a starter on two occasions and now needs regular game time. A huge additional bonus is that Joe was born and still lives in Stafford. Welcome Joe.

We have released Tolani Omatola so that he can sign for Atherton Collieries FC in time for their game on Tuesday. We would like to thank Tol for his effort in his short time at the Boro and wish him well for the future

Squad Update

We are delighted to announce the loan signing of 20 year old striker Michael Tait-Moran from Tamworth FC. Michael began his career at Aston Villa aged just seven and was finally released this summer having featured for the first team on more than one occasion. Michael will be with us initially until 17/1/22.

We can also announce the signing of 23 year old striker Khaellem Bailey-Nicholls from Kettering Town FC. Khaellem can count Halesowen, Redditch and Rushall as former clubs with experience at this level and above.

We can also announce that 17 year old Charlie Pearsall, an exciting midfield prospect from our development squad has also signed first team forms. Congratulations Charlie.

Finally, Adam Whitehouse has joined Boldmere St Michaels on dual registration to get much needed game time.

Squad Update

We are delighted to announce that Joe Cuff has returned to training and will feature for the U21s squad this coming Saturday at Marston Rd, kick off 10.30am versus Lichfield City. Admission £3. Children under 16, £1

Other first team squad players may feature in this game too.

In further updates Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis remains sidelined awaiting GP clearance from his current illness.

Two of our newly-recruited development squad players, who made first team debuts against Sutton Coldfield Town, will sign dual registration forms with Eccleshall FC next week to gain further first team experience. Both players remain registered with SRFC. Congratulations to Taylor Draper and Lewis Rowley.

Louis-Augustin Malandjou Kondjo signs for the Boro

We can announce the signing of French midfielder Louis-Augustin Malandjou Kondjo from Tamworth. Having played for Nottingham Forest at U18 & U21 levels Louis has also had spells with both Bala Town and Caernarfon Town and several clubs across Europe. We are glad to welcome Louis-Augustin to the BORO!
