After a huge response and engagement from Rangers fans the Club confirms the home shirt the team will play in next season is Shirt A in the poll that closed on Friday 3rd July.

Club supporters can now look forward to the team stepping out in the custom designed new kit supplied by local business Harlequin Teamwear.

Team Manager Jody Banim comments:

“Not only have we got a fantastic shirt to play in but this initiative demonstrates the passion the supporters have for the club and the badge, and reinforces the reason I wanted this job. The shirt means something, it is part of our history and tradition and now our future.

Stafford Rangers confirm that the ability it gave fans to choose the shirt was a huge success with nearly 500 votes and the most successful social media campaign the club has driven with well over 8,000 unique users being reached, a club record.

Vice Chair, Carol Bailey states:

“I have never known a new kit go down so well we are delighted by the response and on the back of the Come Together campaign gives us great impetus. We can’t wait to see the team playing in the new kit at Marston Road for our first home game of the season.”

Liam Barnett, Director at Harlequin Teamwear says he was “proud” of the reaction the shirts had received and work goes on to finalise the complete set of kit the club needs for the season including a new away strip and tracksuits and training gear.

You can now pre-order the winning shirt through Harlequin’s online store (see link below) where shirts can be sent directly to fans across the world, or collected from the club when they are ready in mid-August (collection dates TBC). It is planned that other merchandise will be made available for fans both online and in the club shop throughout the season.

Stafford Rangers are delighted to announce that Harlequin Teamwear have been chosen to provide all playing kit for the 20/21 Season.

Harlequin Teamwear are a Stafford based company established in 2011 by two longstanding Boro supporters, Jason Roberts and Liam Barnett. They design and manufacture custom sportswear and specialise in providing high quality merchandise predominantly in the demanding motorsport market.

Director of Football, Andy Fearn comments

“We are pleased to be partnered with Harlequin. From the start we have been impressed with their professionalism and knowledge and their links with the club have ensured that passion and integrity have been built into the final 3 bespoke shirt designs, that any team would be proud to wear”.

In a unique first for the football club the Rangers fans will now get the opportunity to choose the shirt that their team will play in, as excitement builds for the start of the new season. The club has seen many changes in the last few months reaching out to all fans and supporters with many initiatives and asking fans to come together. The club want supporters to have an input into as many things as possible and believe this further demonstrates the new era that is emerging at Marston Road.

Liam Barnett a lifelong supporter and Director of Harlequin states:

“Jason and I are excited to be able to produce a custom design for the club but it’s now up to fans to decide on the one the team will play in. We have put our heart into it and think each design works well. The shirts feature a unique 1876 and Stafford knot logo on the back demonstrating our proud 140 years history representing the county town. Inside the collar of the shirt the word ‘Shedenders’ is proudly displayed in a shirt designed by fans for the fans”.

The shirts are manufactured using a process of sublimation meaning that all sponsors logos are printed into the shirt rather than being added afterwards. This ensures logo’s correctly and vividly reflect brands and the lifespan of the shirt is greater and the whole feel and appearance better. The clubs badge has been enhanced and strengthened and sits proudly on the shirt representing our history and values.

Shirts will be available for pre-order once the winning shirt is announced through Harlequin’s online merchandise store and will be despatched directly to fans anywhere in the world. Further information will follow.

Supporters will be able to view each of the final three home shirts and vote on their favourite by clicking on the link below and registering their vote. Voting will be open from today until 5pm on Friday 3rd July with the winning design announced on Sunday 5th July before submitting for league approval on Monday 6th July.

MATCHDAY VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

MATCHDAY VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

Volunteers are the very essence and lifeblood of Stafford Rangers and always will be.

A match day at Marston Road is a busy time for everyone involved as we try to provide fans and sponsors with the very best experience we can. To achieve this the club needs to ensure we clearly identify the areas we need help with, and communicate effectively with those volunteers in advance of match days.

We recognise the need for a volunteer co-ordinator and are delighted to announce that Alison Broom has agreed to take on this role. Alison has been actively supporting the club together with her partner Alex for the past 4 years, since moving up from London. Many of you will know her from the help she gives us on the gates at home games. In her day job she manages a team of 10 people within a partnership’s role in Stafford and her enthusiasm for the club and experience will be a fantastic asset in her role as Matchday Volunteer Co-ordinator.

If you have an interest in being part of the club as a volunteer can you please e mail Alison at: alison.broom@staffordrangersfc.co.uk

She will be contacting all volunteers over the course of the next couple of weeks to ensure we have an up to date register of volunteers and will be actively encouraging volunteers to step forward and offer their help. We thank Alison for agreeing to take this responsibility on and know you will wish her all the best.
