We have also unveiled a timeline sign at the ground entrance, designed by supporters and this is already receiving great feedback, along with a photo display through the ages in the club’s hallway, curated by Sue Bennett.

We have lots of events planned and we would like to see as many of you backing these as possible.

New Fan Photomontage Project

New Initiative

Stafford Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new initiative to celebrate the lifeblood of the club – our loyal supporters. Following the success of the 150th Photomontage, the Club has given permission for Ian Willshaw and Mark Alcock to embark on a special project: a photomontage dedicated to Stafford Rangers fans – past and present.

The Club invites all supporters to submit their favourite photographs for inclusion on a brand-new fan wall. Whether it’s a cherished memory of a loved one who is no longer with us, a snapshot from your very first game, your child’s first match, or a photo capturing the joy of a celebrated goal – whatever the moment, we want to showcase your memories as part of our club’s proud history.

We also want supporters to share a few words about their most memorable moments- be it the occasion, the game, or simply how you felt – to help bring these special memories to life.

The finished photomontage will be installed on the wall in the far corner of the ground, between the Shed End and Lotus End – an area we’re keen to bring to life with your memories.

How to Submit Your Photographs or Memories:

  • Email your high resolution images (black & white or colour) and / or written memories to Mark Alcock
  • There is no limit to the number of photographs you can submit
  • All photographs will be reviewed by Ian Willshaw and Mark Alcock, who will be responsible for the final selection. While every effort will be made to display as many photos as possible, space may be limited.
  • Please ensure your photographs are high resolution for the best possible display quality.
  • The deadline for submissions is November 10th

The club aims to unveil the completed fan photomontage in December, just in time for the big Christmas games.

For further information, please contact Mark Alcock.

We can’t wait to see your snaps!

Unveiling the 150th Photomontage

Montage to celebrate 150 years

Stafford Rangers 150 Years MontageAs part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we are thrilled to unveil our second 150th commemorative piece a photomontage. Attendees of tomorrow’s game against Boldmere St. Michaels will have the opportunity to view the photo-montage, which has been erected this week.

The brilliant photomontage was produced by lifelong fan Ian Wilshaw, who has supported the Club for over 60 years. Ian, thank you for capturing the spirit and history of the Club so perfectly.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cuttlestones Auctioneers for generously sponsoring the photomontage. Their sponsorship, along with the funds raised by Alex Wickett’s end-of-season fundraiser, made this piece possible. Also, special mention to Chris Elsley for supplying most of the photographs.

The official unveiling of the photomontage will take place very soon, which will bring together key figures from the club’s history.

We are also thrilled to welcome Eve Whitfield and her family to tomorrow’s game. Eve has painted the new 150th Mural, which will be cherished for many years to come.

Alex’s fundraiser also contributed significantly to the creation of the mural. To everyone who supported Alex—whether your contribution was big or small—thank you. Your generosity helped bring these commemorative works to life.

Up The Boro.

Stafford Rangers FC 150th Anniversary Shirts

Stafford Rangers FC 150th Anniversary Shirts

New look for our 150th

SRFC Kit LaunchWe are delighted to unveil our brand new home and away shirts for the 2025-2026 season, which are now available to pre-order. Our partners Harlequin Teamwear, have once more pulled out all the stops and Jason Roberts & Liam Barnett have done us proud with bespoke shirts, that the players and fans will be proud to wear as we celebrate our 150th Anniversary as a football club.

Shirt prices have also been frozen for the year ahead, at £35.00 for Adults Sizes (XS to 5XL) and £27.50 for Junior Sizes (4 to 14 years). Pre-orders can now be made, any purchases made this week will be ready at the end of July.

The home shirt sets the scene for the season to come where we will hopefully be celebrating on the pitch and off it as we recognise the anniversary of 150 years, an incredibly special achievement for Stafford Rangers FC. This year our crest will be a traditional woven badge – embroidered in gold, with a reference to the 150 years of the club underneath. Ribbed sleeve ends, ribbed collar with gold trim, retro style numbers on the back of the shirt, as well as the Stafford knot with 1876 written below – our year of inception combine to make a classic style shirt, which is unique to the football club. Club sponsors ACT Fasteners, ESS Packaging, Stan Robinson, all agreed to have their logos in gold also, to celebrate the club’s anniversary.

In contrast, the away shirt is designed to reflect the exciting future of the football club, as we continue to work hard to be successful on and off the pitch, whilst nurturing the future talent of tomorrow in the junior section along with the support of valued local businesses. We have opted for a striking purple strip, with fluorescent yellow trim, which is eye-catching and designed to appeal to everyone involved in the Stafford Rangers community.

Our sponsors love both shirts and are fully supportive of the new kits and we in turn thank Stan Robinson, ACT Fasteners, Abbey Polymers and ESS Packaging for their continued support. We were delighted to invite these sponsors and representatives of Stafford Rangers Juniors to the Stan Robinson Stadium last week, and spend time with manager Neil Kitching, assistant Graham Deakin, as well as long-serving Boro defenders – Andy Burns and Jimmy O’Neill. You will see from the photographs from the evening below that the shirts looks great. Kitch and the team are delighted with them and look forward to running out with it at the start of the season and hope to see as many fans wearing the shirts as possible when our campaign gets under way. Let’s hope it is a golden year for everyone associated with our great club.

Stan Robinson

It’s a great honour for the football club’s anniversary shirts to have the primary sponsorship of Stan Robinson, a man who contributed so much to Stafford Rangers as a person, and a family and business that continues to support the club generously in Stan’s legacy today.

Established in 1970, Stan Robinson (Stafford) Ltd is one of the leading family owned road haulage businesses in the UK. Their head office in Stafford, Staffordshire is ideally located 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M6 motorway.

Stafford Rangers Juniors

SRFC Kit Launch - JuniorsWe were delighted to welcome representatives from Stafford Rangers Juniors, including James Nation (Chairman) and Will Reid (SR Juniors U8s Coach), with their children – aspiring future Rangers stars, Gabriel Nation and Noah Reid!

On attending the event James said:

It’s an exciting season ahead as our Junior Section as we are working hard towards their 3 star accreditation. We are working closely with Staffordshire FA on the Club 28 initiative, as the junior teams look to be more involved with the first team at the club. This season we will be wearing the same kits as the first team, united as a club – one badge, and one kit. We are in the top 5 largest pathways in Staffordshire, and with 28 Juniors teams, the Juniors players are excited for the new kits and season ahead representing the football club.

The Stafford Rangers Elite Pathway in the football club continues to grow, with 8 teams competing this season in the JPL across the West Midlands.

Abbey Polymers

SRFC Kit Launch - Abbey PolymersAbbey Polymers is a small business based in Stafford who supply plastic raw materials to the engineering sector, across the whole country. Their materials help supply for engineering, automative and electrical parts.

Speaking to Robin Bailey of Abbey Polymers at the launch, we asked him why they decided to become the away back of the shirt sponsor, this coming season:

I’ve lived in Stafford now for about 40 years. I’m not a Staffordian originally, and I used to bring my oldest son down when he started to get interested in football. He started coming down the Rangers, so that must be nearly 40 years ago, and I’ve just never stopped.
Originally I came from Cambridge, so I grew up watching non-league football, because Cambridge United were in the Southern League then; so i’ve just always been a fan of non-league football.
Then when i got my own business, then I thought well I’ve got the opportunity now to put a bit of money back in to the club, where I’ve had hours and hours of fun; and hours and hours of not so much fun. But overall it seemed like a good idea for me to put a bit back in to the club where I’ve spent many an hour over the years.
The new away shirt is really nice; I think the purple is a very smart colour, it’s really good – good choice.

ACT Fasteners

SRFC Kit Launch - ACT FastenersEstablished in 1988, ACT Fasteners has one of the largest range of machine screws in Europe, based at Four Ashes Industrial Estate. Led by Tim Glayshier, who originally is from Brighton and is an avid supporter of the Seagulls, ACT are a fantastic sponsor of Stafford Rangers. Once again they are our back of shirt sponsors for our home kit this season, as they enter their 5th year sponsoring the football club.

ESS Packaging Limited

SRFC Kit Launch - ESS PackagingESS Packaging Ltd are a local packaging manufacturer and distributor, literally located 5 miles away from the Stafford Rangers football ground. They manufacture cardboard boxes and also offer a contract packing service.

Speaking to Graham Lunn of ESS Packaging Ltd at the launch, we asked him why they decided to become the home shirt sleeve sponsor, this coming season:

I’ve been a Stafford Rangers fan for 55 years and have attended all the Wembley finals in the 1970’s, and the fantastic league run in the 1980’s. It’s just an opportunity to put a little bit back into the local football club.

We are very happy and proud to be a sponsor associated with the club, which is now celebrating it’s 150th year, and to be invited to be part of a shirt sponsorship deal is absolutely fantastic; so we are really looking forward to the association, and wish them the best of luck for the forthcoming season.

Harlequin Teamwear

SRFC Kit Launch - Harlequin TeamwearA huge amount of time and effort goes into putting our teamwear together and we are hugely grateful to Harlequin Teamwear for their support, passion, and generous sponsorship in proving all our team kit requirements, in our 5th season working together. We would encourage any local sports teams and businesses to speak to Jason and Liam, to see whether they can assist with your clothing requirements.

Finally

The photographs of the new shirts are courtesy of local professional photographer and fellow SRFC supporter, Jamie Maaskant. We would like to thank him for his time, if you need a photographer please check out his website.
