Rangers progressed to the Emirates FA Cup 3rd round with a 1-0 win over local rivals Tamworth. Everyone’s eyes will now be on the draw for the next round on Monday lunchtime. A well worked goal scored by Izak Reid was enough to see the Boro through.

Rushall Olympic will be playing their replay on Tuesday night leaving the Rangers without a mid week game. Rangers success also means that the scheduled fixture for Saturday 30th September against Altrincham will have to be re-arranged.

A well deserved rest then for the Boro and fingers crossed for a good draw in the next round

Rangers progressed through to the 3rd Qualiying Round of the Emirates FA Cup after a 1-0 win over local rivals Tamworth. A goal from Izak Reid was enough to see the Boro through. Everybody’s eyes will now be on the draw for the next round on Monday lunch time.

With Rushall Olympic replaying their tie on Tuesday night Rangers will be without a mid week fixture. The home fixture scheduled for Saturday 30th September against Altrincham is also a victim of Rangers progress in the cup.

A well deserved break then unti next Saturday when we make the trip to Shaw Lane.

Rangers have today signed 22 year old left back Kieren Westwood. Kieren, formerly with Stratford Town and Stoubridge will be eligible to play in the Emirates FA Cup match against Tamworth tomorrow.

ADVICE ON EMIRATES FA CUP

On the advice of Police and Safety Council, this Saturdays Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie against Tamworth will be segregated.  Away fans will be on the Lotus side of the ground and will be entering by gates F & G and using the Chairman’s Suite for refreshments.
