Rangers Fans to Choose Home Shirt

Rangers Fans to Choose Home Shirt

Stafford Rangers are delighted to announce that Harlequin Teamwear have been chosen to provide all playing kit for the 20/21 Season.

Harlequin Teamwear are a Stafford based company established in 2011 by two longstanding Boro supporters, Jason Roberts and Liam Barnett. They design and manufacture custom sportswear and specialise in providing high quality merchandise predominantly in the demanding motorsport market.

Director of Football, Andy Fearn comments

“We are pleased to be partnered with Harlequin. From the start we have been impressed with their professionalism and knowledge and their links with the club have ensured that passion and integrity have been built into the final 3 bespoke shirt designs, that any team would be proud to wear”.

In a unique first for the football club the Rangers fans will now get the opportunity to choose the shirt that their team will play in, as excitement builds for the start of the new season. The club has seen many changes in the last few months reaching out to all fans and supporters with many initiatives and asking fans to come together. The club want supporters to have an input into as many things as possible and believe this further demonstrates the new era that is emerging at Marston Road.

Liam Barnett a lifelong supporter and Director of Harlequin states:

“Jason and I are excited to be able to produce a custom design for the club but it’s now up to fans to decide on the one the team will play in. We have put our heart into it and think each design works well. The shirts feature a unique 1876 and Stafford knot logo on the back demonstrating our proud 140 years history representing the county town. Inside the collar of the shirt the word ‘Shedenders’ is proudly displayed in a shirt designed by fans for the fans”.

The shirts are manufactured using a process of sublimation meaning that all sponsors logos are printed into the shirt rather than being added afterwards. This ensures logo’s correctly and vividly reflect brands and the lifespan of the shirt is greater and the whole feel and appearance better. The clubs badge has been enhanced and strengthened and sits proudly on the shirt representing our history and values.

Shirts will be available for pre-order once the winning shirt is announced through Harlequin’s online merchandise store and will be despatched directly to fans anywhere in the world. Further information will follow.

Supporters will be able to view each of the final three home shirts and vote on their favourite by clicking on the link below and registering their vote. Voting will be open from today until 5pm on Friday 3rd July with the winning design announced on Sunday 5th July before submitting for league approval on Monday 6th July.

Media suite gets a major uplift

Media suite gets a major uplift

The latest fan led project is now underway. Shaun and Steve Reynolds and Ben, Mark and Graham Alcock have started the complete renovation of the Media Suite at Stafford Rangers FC. This project has only been made possible following a very generous donation by Boost the Boro which will pay for all the works required.

Fans are making the Media Suite watertight and warm and bringing it up to the 21st Century. These works are being undertaken because Stafford Rangers FC has a large fan base located across the UK and World.

Fans are reliant on the media team to keep them updated on matches and, therefore, this is an important infrastructure project that will benefit all fans. We also hope by improving the Media Suite it will encourage people to volunteer for the various media roles.

Thank you for supporting Boost the Boro and making this project happen.

MATCHDAY VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

MATCHDAY VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

Volunteers are the very essence and lifeblood of Stafford Rangers and always will be.

A match day at Marston Road is a busy time for everyone involved as we try to provide fans and sponsors with the very best experience we can. To achieve this the club needs to ensure we clearly identify the areas we need help with, and communicate effectively with those volunteers in advance of match days.

We recognise the need for a volunteer co-ordinator and are delighted to announce that Alison Broom has agreed to take on this role. Alison has been actively supporting the club together with her partner Alex for the past 4 years, since moving up from London. Many of you will know her from the help she gives us on the gates at home games. In her day job she manages a team of 10 people within a partnership’s role in Stafford and her enthusiasm for the club and experience will be a fantastic asset in her role as Matchday Volunteer Co-ordinator.

If you have an interest in being part of the club as a volunteer can you please e mail Alison at: alison.broom@staffordrangersfc.co.uk

She will be contacting all volunteers over the course of the next couple of weeks to ensure we have an up to date register of volunteers and will be actively encouraging volunteers to step forward and offer their help. We thank Alison for agreeing to take this responsibility on and know you will wish her all the best.

STAFFORD RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB – PROGRAMME EDITOR

The resumption of the Premier League has given us hope that football will return at NPL level in the not too distant future.

In preparation for the forthcoming season, applications are required from interested persons for the important role of match day Programme Editor

For the past few years Chris Elsley has undertaken this role and the programmes produced by him have been of excellent quality. Due to work commitments Chris is no longer able to devote the time and effort to continue in this role.

A job description is available to anyone interested in being considered for this role.

This is a voluntary position but does have benefits. Free entry to the ground on match days and, subject to available space, travel on the team coach to away fixtures.

In the first instance please indicate your interest by emailing Ken Hunt at commercial@staffordrangersfc.co.uk
