Survey Update

Survey Update

We hear you

Following the recent call for people to complete our Stafford Rangers Supporters Survey, we would like to assure fans that the results of the feedback is currently being analysed, and will be completed and fed back to the board by Craig Cartwright.

Craig voluntarily created the survey, and is currently scrutinising the data to be able to provide the club with the key areas highlighted, and allow the board to understand where any improvement and consistency may be required.

The aim is for this to be provided to the board by the end of September, with personal time being put into ensuring each response is fully explored to ensure a proper examination is complete.

We thank fans for their patience at this time, and for their ongoing support, having received almost 300 replies to the survey.

Trophy Match to be Replayed

Trophy Match to be Replayed

We have to go again

The FA have ordered that our Trophy game against Long Eaton must be replayed on Wednesday of this week, kick of 7.45 at Long Eaton, because we inadvertently fielded an ineligible player in the original fixture. In coming to this decision, the FA have accepted that we received all the relevant permissions from the player’s parent club, but that the wording of the permissions filed with the FA did not comply with the rules of the competition. The FA have also accepted that neither Stafford Rangers nor any of its officers knew, or could reasonably have known, even if they had made every reasonable enquiry, that the player was ineligible to play. Details of coach travel arrangements to Long Eaton will be released as soon as they are known.

Rangers go International

Vamos !

Tommy MontefioriWe can now confirm that having received International Clearance, we have completed the signing of Argentinian striker, Carlos Thomas Gomez Montefoiri, more commonly know as Tommy Montefiori. Tommy counts Crewe Alexandra and Nantwich Town as part of his English football experience, but has been signed following his release from Brazilian side Esporte Clube Juventude.

Tommy will come into contention this weekend, as we take on Kettering Town in the Emirates FA Cup, subject to all paperwork being completed.

We can also confirm that Joe Mwasile is cup-tied this weekend, having appeared for Hanley Town in the previous round.

Welcome to the Boro, Tommy !

Branded Re-Usable Cups

Branded Re-Usable Cups

Black, White and now Green

Stafford Rangers FC are very pleased to announce that we will be having Stafford Rangers branded reusable plastic cups for this upcoming season. The reusable plastic cups will be in operation at our first home game against Newcastle Town FC, on Tuesday 13th August.

Thank you to FG Man and Winter Warmth for sponsoring the cups.

SRFC Reusable Cups

How it will work

Anyone wanting to have a pint of beer within the ground will be required to purchase a reusable cup that will cost £1.50. This will be added to the price of your first drink.

On returning the plastic cup you will receive a coupon, which can then be used to purchase a reusable plastic cup for future games.

The cups will also be available to buy from the club shop for £2.00.

We hope all our fans will support this idea because it will reduce the clubs reliance on single use plastics; as well as reduce the amount of litter that is left in the ground at the end of games.
