We have released Khaellem Bailey-Nicholls so that he can seek game time elsewhere and would like to thank him for his efforts during his short spell at the club.

We have also de-registered Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis to allow him to recover from his current condition and play more locally to his Bristol home, if that becomes an option in the near future.

We have also agreed to cancel the contract by mutual consent of Michael Lennon, due to work commitments and we would like to wish him well with his move to the USA in the summer.

A Christmas Message

A Merry Christmas to all Stafford Rangers Fans

Whilst it seems like we have been here before in terms of the Covid-19 pandemic and everything is starting to feel very similar to last year, that is not so at your football club!

On the pitch we as different again from the previous season and whilst we have lost some games we should have won, we have won so many more than we even we dared to hope for.

It is a different team, a squad of battlers determined to grind out results with the organisation, capacity and skill that can surprise every team in this league. What a difference a year makes!

We thank Matt, Dale, all the squad and their entire management and backroom staff for a truly fantastic effort over the past 5 months putting us back on the football map and proudly bringing a smile to us all. There is still a sense of anguish and doubt on occasions but the predominant sense is expectancy because we believe once more that we can win games and can seriously worry the best of opposition.

Off the pitch we still have obstacles to overcome but we believe we are getting more things right than wrong and for a club run predominantly by volunteers that is a magnificent achievement and its only right we say thank you to you all, you are just the best.

Our goal and objective continues to be the ‘best non-league football club both on and off the field.’

From everyone involved in making sure a match can take place, whether you are the football secretary, work on the turnstiles, coordinate match days, selling programmes, 50/50 tickets or are involved in stewarding or support our commercial/match sponsor activity, a huge thank you to you all as you are as much part of our team as your favourite player! To all involved in promoting the club through the website and social media, thank you.

There are too many individuals to mention here, our silent heroes, you know who you are and all of your efforts are deeply appreciated by the club and its supporters whether you are involved on a match day or part of our back room staff in the office working so hard during the week.

We also thank everyone in the Social Club from manager to bar staff who work tirelessly to enhance our match days for supporters and support and deliver everything from parties, celebrations and sportsman’s evenings generating much needed income.

Our sponsors and advertisers are key to what we can do and achieve as a football club and your commitment, faith and loyalty in supporting Stafford Rangers makes such a huge difference and we are proud and fortunate to have you as part of the SRFC family.

One of our mottos is that ‘we are more than just a football club’ – This wouldn’t be possible without your efforts.

To our fans, lottery members and shareholders we hope we have given you fresh enthusiasm this season so far and thank you for your attendance, your support through Season and Match tickets and donations, as well as your commitment, loyalty and faith.

To everyone we sincerely wish you and your families a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Christmas and hope that 2022 brings good things for you all!

Oh and some great performances, wins and the odd hat trick would be nice!!!!!

Happy Christmas Everyone from the Chairman, Directors & Boro Development Group.
