The Work Starts Now

Neil KitchingSaturday’s game at Clitheroe brought the 24/25 season to a close with a draw and 12th position achieved in the league. A fabulous achievement given our position at the turn of the year. All credit to the players, management team and most importantly the tremendous support from fans, home and away.

The work continues in the club with the objective to move forward with a clear vision, on and off the pitch.

We are delighted to confirm that Neil Kitching and his current management team have agreed a three year contract with the club, running through to the end of the 27/28 season.

It was vital that we got this agreed quickly to ensure that Neil has the opportunity to retain players early and concentrate on looking at new players for the 25/26 season as soon as possible.

Our intention is to challenge in step 4 and target a playoff position to get the club back into step 3 at the earliest opportunity.

We share the passion held by fans to move the club upwards ,now have commitment from the manager and we have provided the tools to enable us to look up.

We are clear where we want to be on the pitch and recognise our activities off it will determine the financial security we need to help achieve sustainability and success. It is never as easy as it sounds but we clearly recognise that we have to build on and increase our commercial footprint in a different way to provide opportunities going forward. We have enthusiasm and an appetite to do this. Our number one priority in the close season will be to review all areas of our income stream to determine how we can raise incremental funds.

What can you do as fans.

  1. We hope to release Season Tickets before the end of May – buy one if you can.
  2. You will be able to read in this month’s Goal Post that we will be advertising for much needed volunteers- if you can help then let us know. We simply cannot do it without you.
  3. Support events that we put on in the close season such as friendlies. We also have Sellebrity Soccer coming to the Stan Robinson stadium at 7.45pm on Wednesday 7th may.
  4. Want to be a club sponsor? Are you interested in hospitality . Get in touch with us.
  5. Want to get on the Board ? Let us know your skill set and we will be delighted to welcome you to come and talk to us.

It’s going to be an exciting time for the club we will enjoy the journey together.

Stafford Rangers to Help Raise Awareness for Autism

April’s Autism Awareness Month

Stafford Rangers FC is proud to announce that this Saturday’s game against Congleton Town FC will be dedicated to raising awareness of autism as part of April’s Autism Awareness Month.

In support of this important cause, we are delighted to welcome the Stafford and District Branch of the National Autistic Society (NAS) as our special guests for the day. The NAS team will have an information stand in the Jon Downing Suite during the match, offering supporters the opportunity to learn more about the vital work they do, the services they provide, and the support available to autistic individuals, their families, and carers.

The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people. Since its founding in 1962, the NAS has transformed countless lives, challenged societal attitudes, and advocated tirelessly to create a more inclusive world for autistic adults and children.

This initiative reflects Stafford Rangers FC’s commitment to supporting important causes within our community. We encourage fans attending the match to visit the NAS stand and show their support for autism awareness. Together, we can help foster understanding and create a more inclusive environment for everyone. Fans can also talk to Heather Rose, the clubs’ first Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Heather can usually be found in the Disabled Shelter.

Kick-off is at 3pm, and we look forward to seeing fans at Stan Robinson Stadium for what promises to be an exciting match and an opportunity to make a difference.

Let’s come together—for football and for a great cause!

This will be a hugely attractive fixture for both teams and supporters, and we expect the largest gate of the season. Both clubs have been working closely together to ensure that the day is a memorable one. We look forward to welcoming officials and fans to the Stan Robinson stadium and hope everyone enjoys what should be an exciting finale to the 24/25 season.

This game will be segregated and be all ticket. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and there will be no cash or debit card turnstiles in operation on the day. If you have not bought a ticket in advance, you will not be able to see the game. Tickets will need to be shown either in printed form or digitally on your mobile phone and scanned on the gates.

A healthy ticket allocation for Hednesford fans has been agreed by both clubs and we have provided a link to our ticketing partners site for Hednesford Fans who will communicate this in their own release for this game.

Any away disabled fans will need to buy tickets as an away supporter but will be welcomed into the covered disabled area which is situated in the home area of the stadium and will need to access through the home gate D. This area is only small, but we will do all we can to facilitate and enable access.
