Squad gets an update

One In One Out

Kingsley Adu-GyamfiNeil Kitching has moved to bolster the squad with the addition of 27 year old striker Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi. The striker joins after a short spell with Belper Town FC.

Kingsley will be well known to our fans having scored for Kidsgrove Athletic against the ‘Boro’, in our 2-1 win there back in February. A regular goal scorer for the Grove, Kingsley has also appeared for local rivals Newcastle Town.

We would like to thank Belper Town FC for their support in making the move happen and welcome Kingsley to the ‘Boro’.

We can also confirm that after receiving an approach from Banbury United FC, Alex Worley will leave the club and we would like to thank Alex for his brief spell at the ‘Boro’ and wish him well for the future.

Unveiling the 150th Photomontage

Unveiling the 150th Photomontage

Montage to celebrate 150 years

Stafford Rangers 150 Years MontageAs part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we are thrilled to unveil our second 150th commemorative piece a photomontage. Attendees of tomorrow’s game against Boldmere St. Michaels will have the opportunity to view the photo-montage, which has been erected this week.

The brilliant photomontage was produced by lifelong fan Ian Wilshaw, who has supported the Club for over 60 years. Ian, thank you for capturing the spirit and history of the Club so perfectly.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cuttlestones Auctioneers for generously sponsoring the photomontage. Their sponsorship, along with the funds raised by Alex Wickett’s end-of-season fundraiser, made this piece possible. Also, special mention to Chris Elsley for supplying most of the photographs.

The official unveiling of the photomontage will take place very soon, which will bring together key figures from the club’s history.

We are also thrilled to welcome Eve Whitfield and her family to tomorrow’s game. Eve has painted the new 150th Mural, which will be cherished for many years to come.

Alex’s fundraiser also contributed significantly to the creation of the mural. To everyone who supported Alex—whether your contribution was big or small—thank you. Your generosity helped bring these commemorative works to life.

Up The Boro.

Help Ethan

Help Ethan

Please help us help Ethan

EthanOn Bank Holiday Monday August 25th we welcome Nantwich Town FC to the Stan Robinson Stadium KO 3pm.

This day is also a special day as we are taking the opportunity to raise funds for an incredibly special boy called Ethan Tate who needs our help.

Ethan will be welcomed as our mascot for the day and joined by his mum Lorraine, father Damian and twin sister Ellie-Mae.

Ethan is 10 years old and was born with a rare genetic condition called KMT5B which affects his learning and development. He is currently unable to walk or talk. He also has Cerebral Palsy like picture, global development delay and Scoliosis of the spine. Despite all this he always has a smile on his face.

Easy ChairThe family live in Stafford, and we want to show our support in helping them buy some much needed equipment for Ethan. He needs a new specialist chair called an ‘Easy Stand’ not available through the NHS. The equipment would be game changing for the family at home not only getting to enable the family to get Ethan up on his feet but enabling him to join in more with his family. Lorraine says ‘we want Ethan to be able to stand at a sink and just feel running water on his hand’.

Ethan loves to watch some tv (Paw Patrol and Blaze and the monster Machines) and loves his music especially Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts, and we are honoured to be able to welcome him to Stafford Rangers.

Lorraine together with a couple of family members will be holding a bucket collection in the ground before and during the game and we ask that you welcome them warmly and give what you can to help hit their target of £7700. They have already run some successful events of their own including a just giving page and hopefully a successful day on Monday will also allow them to buy some much needed additional items such as a ‘Ladderback’ for Ethan.

The club itself will be donating, and we will also be giving our net income (after the winning ticket) from the 50/50 sales to this great cause to do what we can. So, every ticket you buy will help Ethan. So, you can make a difference.

Andy Burns (team captain) has also confirmed the players will be making a donation.

Stafford Rangers motto is ‘More than just a football club’ and we are proud to be associated with Ethan and his family and determined to help them.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Keeper joins on Loan

Arron Davies adds competition

Arron DaviesStafford Rangers have signed goalkeeper Arron Davies on loan from Port Vale and will go straight into the first team squad for tonight’s match against Congleton Town, at the Stan Robinson Stadium. Arron graduated from the youth ranks to earn a professional contract in 2024 at Port Vale and has impressed Darren Moore enough, to earn a one year extension. He was also named on the first-team bench at the start of this current season.
Darren Moore said: Arron has been in and around the First Team for a while now, taking part in training and travelling with the squad throughout last season. He is a pleasure to be around and is keen to continue his development every single day, taking on the advice from the coaching staff and our more experienced players. He has all of the tools and ability at his disposal to really kick on.
We look forward to continuing his development, and hope he enjoys his time at the Boro. Our thanks goes to Port Vale FC, for allowing this mutual deal to happen.

Welcome Arron.
